You might want to consider to wait for XZ-1 to launch sometime this mth end or Feb by Olympus. I'm also considering the S95 & G12 until i read about the XZ-1

G11 was going for HK$3300, for another 300, it makes sense to get the G12...

Can you please be kind to tell me where you had bought your G12?
A shop name and address will be useful
I will be heading there next Wed, want to make use of the good exchange rate to get a G12.
(My hotel is at Royal Plaza, no real idea where it is, just that it proudly claims to be in the Mongkok area...)

Did your set come with an international warranty? If no, is there any way to 'upgrade' to an international one? Also, where would you point one to to get camera bags in Mongkok area?

I have just a G12 too!

The current cash price for G12 is around $750-$760 averagely and it comes with a 8gb sd card and a pouch.

Ya can purchase additional 24mths extended warrenty for only $90...

Add $8 for inter-US shipping total US cost would be about US$450 (S$580)
Add S$35 for VPost
Add S$50 for GST Tax

The total would be about SG$650-670

The SG$100 leftover could buy us more than an entry-level 8GB and cheap pouch...

Does Canon SG offer the G12 for their Priviledge Purchase Program as well?

Sorry, this is a little off topic...... I was wondering what price a 2nd hand G11 is selling at now? I tried to find one in B&S but I could not find one listed.

I have an opportunity to buy one at $455. Is this too much or just about right?
