Not sure if Canon will trade in my IXUS 800 IS with G11? ;p

The answer is always a yes. Regardless of anything, storing it in sealed and dry area will make the equipment last longer. Even a simple cupboard with dry agent makes a big difference.

Whether dry cabinet, drybox or just plain tupperware (with dry agent), they are just fine.

Oh ok...so the drying agent you are referring to would be silica gel? Or those hungry hippo type of products that you can get in supermarkets?

Sorry for being so noob...I will have to admit that I did not really take care of my PnS last time! ;p

anything or any boxes that can keep your cams out of moisture.

We usually refer to electric dry cabinets.

I think should be $810 as someone pointed out in this thread.

Anyway, went down Alan Photo & John 3:16 today.
Sad to say.....no more stocks...have to wait a week or two for newer stocks.
Didn't know G11 so hot siah.

i don't remember got so cheap, especially 750 with gst.

maybe around 780 plus, freebies wise, better to call them up to ask.
