mac all the way! :thumbsup: i attached my macbook to an ext lcd monitor, so it solved the "small" screen problem. and when i need to bring it out, i just detach everything and it becomes mobile! that's why i prefer a laptop!

Today met so many top market gurus. One time see so many all at one meeting, notable ones are Head of Friendster, Asia & COO of Yahoo! SEA. There's more but too many to name them.

EI, the Snow Leopard not yet released, only be on sale/released in Sept... Apple usually don't release their OS before it gets shipped with their systems.

Hmm, i'm also in the same predicament as you, either i get my 13" Macbook Pro now (yay, Now the 13" alum MB becomes MBP! 8GB ram, firewire, SD-slot, etc!) or i wait till Sept. :bsmilie: But i guess i can wait, no hurry, and can save up more too!

Well, you can get the Mac book pro now. And later once the Snowy is released, you can buy it for $18.

As according to the information i received from apple, any computer/laptop purchased after 8 june 2009 is entitled for a free upgrade. The $18, covers postage, packaging and the CD cost. So it's not too bad too. Anyway, leopard is a good platform. Since, i've not used apple for ages, wouldn't matter which platform i start of with. Won't be complaining, like it lacks this or that, because i don't know much about the platform. One thing is such, it'll be hell lot better than windows. That i can say for sure.

I dislike laptops. Too small. And the battery issues. Battery never lasts forever.

2) Do which one first crop or PP.

mostly can diy, if you're not sure, take out your manual book and read, there's step by step instructions in it. mostly i get my ram from SGL from Sim Lim. Not sure about DPP as I use CS3.

I usually crop before PP .
