I do not know about other lenses range but no lenses of other makes can topple Canon's 70-200 variants IMO.

Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS USM FTW :thumbsup::thumbsup:

:bsmilie: Price ftw too!

Still sharpness wide open is a little tad short of than its f/4 sibilings. :)

Why sweat? You can get one also. :bsmilie:

Joining us for Ubin trip this Friday? :dunno:

No problem. There are definately more chances to meet up in near future SSS ;).

I think Tokina is worth every single cent. Canon, is just overated. I don't find the feel to it.

actually depends on which u are standing. if on budget, i believe 3rd party will do (thus the overrated on canon). but when u have the moola, then it is the other side of the story liao. but then again, will one gets the 50/1.4 of sigma or canon? sigma is more expensive than canon.

:bsmilie: For that, I think Sigma's better. :bsmilie:

Haha. True. Sigma not bad. But reviews state other wise. Real life experience is totally different. Nice lens. But has that soft touch feel.

OMG OMG... Envy Envy :sticktong.

Dunnit to envy. I borrowed it one. Haha! But I'm having fun with it as master and my 430EX II as slave.

Flash, flash, flash... :cool:

:bsmilie: Compare it with Canon 50mm f/1.4, difference is quite obvious I guess. :)

:bsmilie: Reviews can be biased at times.

sigma 30/1.4 vs canon 35/1.4, i have chosen sigma.
i dont have the vignetting issue as i shoot at f1.4 which is not prominent, unless at f4 and above. but sigma's exterior coating of the lens tends to peel off easily.

That's why need to take extreme precaution when using Sigma lenses. :confused:
