NovJoe, have u tried to AF lock onto the things u are shooting with this diffuser on?
i think u may have problem with focusing, just my guess.

No problem with AF lock. Tested liao . The flash is enough to get to the subject even at 50cm.

Try extreme cases and you'll soon see a big problem. The camera expects AF beam to assist it with AF when you have your flash activated.
