slightly off the current topic.....I just got my 450d the other day from john 3:16.....

am loving it so far....don't regret choosing to go the extra and get this instead of the d60.

Is it still possible to take with just body + lens + tripod?

Yes.

Use self-timer mode. Just that technically cannot use BULB Mode only.

Bulb mode should be available even if its by means of pressing the shutter button if I'm not wrong. Just that stability isn't there and minor shake to the body will result in slight blur.

can... but chances will have blur shots are high.
u can set to bulb mode, press shutter (dont release) and hold.... and release if u want the shutter to close. it is basically same as using a cable release, but at the expense of possible cam shake no matter how sturdy is your tripod.

Does john3:16 carry any shutter release & ard how much? I guess this is nearest to city hall mrt.

Btw, is it ok that my gf is also ard as we may go for movie after the shoot?
