i saw that instax at Loyang Point near my house, If i happen to drop by again, I'll see if they still have those.

So..i was contemplating.For contests right and the extent to how much can we edit the images, how about incamera editing..

with the picture styles and all , how much contrast and sharpness that we may overtly apply. how do the judges distinguish if this was done incamera or postprocessing. Then for raw images, wouldn't it be difficult also to determine the limit of postprocessing?

im still perplexed. and grr i should have joined some of this contests like heritagefest all after looking at the submissions hehe.

Most photo contests only allow minimum PP - basic color correction, tone curve etc.

Removal of elements is strictly not allowed. Multiple exposure stacked, IIRC is also not allowed so therefore HDR is a no-no.

Some have strict ruling on aspect ratio too. But so long stay within 3:2 will be fine.
