everyone busy with wad arh???

anyway.. who has been bbb lately?

Intend to get the Tokina 50-135mm F/2.8 but cannot get the local set from both MS Colour and OP. Now considering whether I should buy the 70-200mm F/4L instead of it. or maybe just keep the money first...;p

Never go wrong with Canon.

Btw, I saw TCW selling 580EX II @ $630 but forgot to ask what warranty. Haha!

Anyway, was looking at Safrotto slingbag. Clone of some Domke mode, forgot which 1l. Price is just nice but only got khaki colour so I might go for the clone of F-2. ;p

Sell my Lowepro sling 1st. Haha! :bsmilie:

But it is only F/4 ya and no IS.
Wondering whether it is ok for my usage or not.
Mainly will use it for wedding and portrait shoot.
Hard to make decision ya...

Portrait shoots should be okay, but for wedding, depending on the speed you're getting. Most probably use it with flash to compensate. :)

I if it's f/2.8 no IS is still ok.. but f/4 imho, you might want get it with IS.

tcw should be grey.

I think so too.
Normally I use flash during the wedding shoots.
So, it might be ok but I wondering whether I can get shutter speed faster than 1/80s for that lens with its F/4 aperture.
Or else, it is very easy to get the blur pic without IS when focal length is greater than 100mm.

That's the main reason y I wish to get the Tokina 50-135mm F/2.8 in the first place but I cannot find them from both MS Colour and OP for local set. Dun really like the Sigma as it got lots of complaints about its inconsistent QC problem.

I guess you can easily solve that problem using Manual mode and set the shutter speed. Of course, if you're talking about using Av mode, that might be an issue. At f/4, indoor (dim light condition) might be tad hard.

Yup. That's y need the IS to overcome.

Hm... not sure about that but I guess IS can only improve the situation by a little than using 70-200mm f/2.8 with/without IS.

I understand that.
However, it might be hard to get the balance between the background and the object if the aperture is not big enuf. I will consider that carefully b4 making the decision, thanks for your advise.

:bsmilie: No worries. If you're looking for balance, I would suggest you to get lens of which has wide aperture of f/2.8 at least, body capable of high ISO (with least amount noise possible) and flash for the job. At least taking it using Av mode will be more effective and somewhat fits your requirement. ;)
