How about a B/W photo for a change of taste? After the spicy crab photo.

First time trying B/W and also adding noise in the PS. How did it go?

Looks good but why not try film grain instead? It may look better?

haha.. i also thought so, but i was thinking maybe coz i am not professional, that's why i cannot see much of a difference. :embrass:

i think the film grain has a higher exposure...if my eyes don't play tricks..
a clearer peekture.

I am newbie here. I am using std lens 18-55mm macro mode.
Please comment.

hi alphakim

not bad but maybe you can work on your point of focus. for the first 2 i couldnt really get where you were focusing, and what the subject of the photos were. it's a little better for the 3rd one, although it's not as sharp and could be due to handshake. im guilty of that too ... keep shooting! ;D

Testing my kit lens which never touched for months,
CPL used for both, ND4 Grad for #1, PP at very minimal..

1# Boat Club at Kallang Riverside Park

Canon 450D w/ EFS 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 IS @ 18mm, f/5 @ 1/60 sec, ISO-200

2# From the bridge on Nicoll Highway near Kallang Riverside Park

Canon 450D w/ EFS 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 IS @ 18mm, f/3.5 @ 1/25 sec, ISO-800

Great Shot. Are you using P mode or basic mode? Do you think 3rd party shutter release controller is good enough? Because original one and 3rd party has a big pricing gap.

3rd party is good enough. Get them from the MO threads. Both remotes are made in china. Be it original or not.

Sorry for late reply.

Are you asking about cokin? Yes I use Cokin-P mount. Or is about mode from command dial? I used Apature AE Program mode.

For shutter release button, I use canon's cable shutter release (I think $45 from Cathay Pennisula),
but for two photos I shot hand held but IS is very useful..

GMAN is right, for shutter release button there is nothing special, and I think Orient Photo from Simlim Sq selling 3rd Party.
