The real fun comes in when you get more lenses!

Anyway saw that you're giving up on your Industry Disgrace strap, no good? :)

Yah was too thick for my liking but may vary w individuals..

The 55-20 lens is kinda under-rated. It really is a good lens to start off with when getting into the higher range. I found that out when I took it for the F1 races last year. If this year I win tickets for the F1, I will again be using this lens.

For those interested, there is a competition to win tickets for the F1 races here

Yeah. Brought it out for today's Ubin SSS earlier and was bird hunting from the top of viewing tower of Chek Jawa but no birds. So went down and shot crabs and a solitary crane with it and of course the infamous lonesome tree of Chek Jawa.

eh, my noob night shots from yest! first time brought tripod out and shooting at night.

err...should post the photos in the 450D pictures thread :) Anyway, very good shots there...very clean and sharp

First one may be a little too overexposed but a little PP would fix it.

thick as in? if you mean wide, then the op/tech is wider, might wanna give matin a try too. Anyway i just got my industry disgrace gonna switch my optech for it.

Still cannot get the plates? Have you tried going online to see if places like Ebay has? Or maybe drop an email to the manufacturer to see if you can get spare parts from them? :dunno:

If all else fails sell as scrap metal and fund for a new tripod?

iccc.. haiz. maybe shld have gone for e matin.. but saw optech at CP, then just bought it.. btw, where can i get e matin if i want ah?

Hey bro, hows the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8?

GMAN

Nothing bad just that the AF is much slower than Sigma and Canon since they have HSM and USM respectively.

Totally agree.

If you want the 300 range, EF 70-300 f4-5.6 IS USM. The only range with IS. 3rd parties models doesn't have it. At such range, you really need the IS.

A good entry tele will be the 55-250 f4-5.6 IS.
Without IS, it would be very hard to use unless one is able to use fast shutter speed or w/ monopod or tripod.

any SSS molo? :)

You should have went to Causeway Point today. The crowd was kinda  when SHE made their appearance.

But as usual, early birds always get the best position and all cameras (w/ flashes!) are locking their targets and SSS! :bsmilie:
