I gaffered tape my Manfrotto tripod, to give it a different look, rather than the conventional black colour. But using gaffer tapes on metal surfaces can get tricky. Because it doesn't stick as easy on metals compared to plastic.Rachel Liang and SHE?
Gaffer tape is used to protect the exterior of the equipments. Said to have the property of not leaving residue after removal.![]()
canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 lll
is this lens value for money?
Tamron or Sigma can easily outperform it.
Canon EF 28 - 80mm f/3.5 - 5.6 II USM
what about this?
haha yeah
anyway TZR250..
do consider the 17-55 f2.8 too
excellent for ur 450D
It is so good, but too expensive....Cannot afford..
As I'm not earning $$ from photography, can only get the Tamron 17-50 mm...![]()
Nothing wrong with getting the Tamron now and when budget increase sell it off to get the EF-S 17-55That is what I plan to do...but who knows, maybe so use to the Tamron don't want to sell later :bsmilie:
:bsmilie: Indeed. Doesn't see much difference between the 2 except for brand, little range and IS.![]()
I think most ppl worry abt getting a 3rd party lens in the range cuz of the missing IS...at least that was my concern when I was deciding on changing my lens. But after taking the plunge with the Tamron, I have found that I could survive without the IS (at least for what I shoot).
I think I will only need the IS when I travel and want to take shots out of the window and the vibration from the car/bus will affect my shots or maybe after a drinking session then hand won't be steady enough :bsmilie:
:bsmilie: I guess the no. of stops that 17-55mm IS can do is insufficient for those drunkards!
Lol...but sure can do some very interesting light trail and movement shots :bsmilie:
Hey bro, hows the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8?:bsmilie: This is something that needs 'em to try it out.
as usual..depending on wat u wanna shoot...
and lastly, your budget![]()
i guess i need something for landscapes.
Wide Angle 28mm or lower Landscapes and Interiors
so meaning our kit lens is a good enuff landscape lens?![]()

It's a no no. :nono:
Totally agree.
If you want the 300 range, EF 70-300 f4-5.6 IS USM. The only range with IS. 3rd parties models doesn't have it. At such range, you really need the IS.
A good entry tele will be the 55-250 f4-5.6 IS.
