Guys,
What is the maximum size SDHC card i can get for the 450D? I seem to remember something about a maximum size (2GB or 4GB?) that can be read by the camera and anything after that is wasted. Is this true? The manual only says it is compatible with SDHC but doesnt mention the max size.

I had used a 8GB before. But it depends if you need a big storage like 8GB and above. I had maxed out 4GB in one shoot before but not 8GB.

Sorrie dude. Last minute got a special guest speaker to talk on computer animation and it over-run till 6plus. I smell that it was coming and sms ninja early.

Ooh. Even the Raynox ones?
Yes. Any form of not pure wide angle lens, or a attachment, degrade picture quality, by the different levels. So far Raynox, seems the best with mininal degration.

I use a 16GB class 6 and 16GB class 2 cards. Works fine. It's just that my older computer cannot read SDHC 16GB very well. Because the card reader has the technology about 6-7years back.

Good meeting you. And sorry for declining the drinks. I already had one before you arrived. So thanks!

Ok. Den how to overcome the problem i posted earlier? Like in a photo posted, how to ensure that all 3 person is sharp? Use a smaller aperture?

Anyway, I used 2.8 for the above shot coz i was trying to lens. ;p

I maybe wrong.. choose center weight average and having smaller aperture?..

:bsmilie: I'm not too good at it either but I guess increasing the aperture to something like f/5.6 should help? ;)

actually using the automatic depth of field function would help. it would ensure the subjects between 2 points will be in focus. the cam detects the distance and sets the aperture accordingly to achieve the req DOF.

:o I seldom use that option so no idea about it. :)

Me too. I was muddling with it for awhile and was feeling quite lost about it. :D

One of the most useful feature. Roughl lets you know how your picture will turn out, despite, taking the shot.

:o For most of the time, I stick with Aperture and Manual only. :)

My Aperture, is usually fixed, and i play with shutter speeds to make my pictures look better.

Play with Aperture, Shutter Speeds + DOF button at times. :)

I seldom use Tv mode since I could do it in Manual mode with my own preferred Aperture. :)

:bsmilie: Well, I had my fair share of manual driving and auto is the way to go given that traffic lights are almost everywhere other than highways!

As for speed, I wonder how fast you can go in Singapore. :bsmilie:
