actually using the automatic depth of field function would help. it would ensure the subjects between 2 points will be in focus. the cam detects the distance and sets the aperture accordingly to achieve the req DOF.

wow! this is something new. so is it that if i use this automatic depth of field function, both the background and foreground will be sharp?
correct. i remember reading it on the manual. since i seldom have to use this function i am not actually sure how to set the points correctly; you might want to read it up yourself. and share with everyone here once you understand how to use it!

You can stack filters upon filters but do know what are you stacking. I only tried stacking UV + Close-Up before.
Btw, You need a filter holder for cokin whereas Hoya are screw mount. I wondered if it's possible. :dunno:
just thought the same brand and type would be possible, but different brands and type means cannot stack liao ba?
It would be degrading picture results with more stacked filters.Same brand should not be a problem.
But I can stack my Hoya Close-Up on top of my cheapo UV. Just that gotta be careful of the threading when mounting bcos you won't want the threading to wear off.![]()
LOL....tomorrow...will be super crowded. By the way, does your 70-200 f4L come is a hood?yup.....this thread itself seem gettin more n more OT.....dun u think so mah?
