Getting prime collection huh?

wah.......jealous jealous jealous lah. haaa..
i tink 25-250 is the most affordable liao. but i still gian the 70-300mm reach leh. but no IS ppl say no use. kao. headache lah

Typo I supposed.

Yup. That's what James from CP told me. 55-250 is much better in terms of value for money. :)

Eh, it will depend if I can get enough from wedding assignments. If my mum going to sponsor again, I think will be only very little. She is paying my school fees of approx SGD$9k per semester. I felt really bad already. I'm chionging wedding assignments in my upcoming summer break to help cover her load a bit also.

all the way ya? i think every parents would want to allow their children as much education as possible. so you can always pay them back (maybe not literally) when you're financially giving back in many ways! :)

oh btw guys, for my tammy 17-50, should i get a filter for it? was thinking of a hoya CPL can liao?

:bsmilie: I can't imagine having you changing lenses every now and then, especially in dusty environment.

Yea. My mum promised me to see me thru my degree no matter how hard the economy gets. She's one great mum.

A UV will do.

Ya. But are you buying your tammy from CP? They seems to have run out of stocks for Hoya UV. I wanted a Hoya one for my new baby but OOS so gotten a Tokina 1 instead.

:bsmilie: Good to see that. I take no chances in handling precious equipments though.

i'm still struggling w my 50mm heh. probably i'm spoilt with using zooms la. but i'm always impressed at my 50 f1.8 photos. bokeh and low light shoot so much better (but i still not gd with primes)

Exercise your legs more. I'm getting used to my 50mm already. The bokeh on mine at f/2.2 is  and it's at its sharpest for my copy. ;)

The only zooming feature available made possible with prime lenses is using your legs to move about. :bsmilie:

I just sold mine. :sticktong

For 70-300mm, unless you get the IS version, otherwise no point.

55-250mm is much affordable though. :)

canon 55-250 IS still the most affordable...

if u want cheaper one, can get tamron 70-300 lor..

i tink 3rd party 70-300 is also around the range of 360-380.
but no IS they say no point. but hor. even with a fast shutter also cannt?
70-300 with IS is a very very big gap in price lor.above 1k i think.

i scared i buy 55-250 liao will still gian 300mm haa..
but if i get 300mm no IS then all shots are blur also waste $$...
