My beloved and most craved for 70-200 lens have to come out from my own paycheck from wedding assignments if I can earn enough by July or June.
What tammy you getting? 17-50?

Ya. I was taking my allowance from my mum yesterday and she was saying prices of stuff going down. I was like really? :think:
Then how come Canon and Nikon increasing their prices?:dunno: I was thinking of that to myself. Then I made for the kill, I told her straight I wanna get a telephoto lens and prices will be be going up pretty soon, so get it now before the prices soar. Then she gave me that one kind of look and I just shut up and went to sleep.
Today she called me while I'm in school, you want to buy the lens cost how much? I said $355 (OP quoted). Then she said wah then think think again, ok lah, go ahead and buy. You pay first then come home and claim. Haha! And here's my telephoto 55-250 IS with Tokina UV Filter:

I see. Perhaps I should stick with my 70-200mm f/4 L for the moment till there's a need to change. The f/4 copy is sharp though.
:bsmilie: Your mum will most probably not fork out any after going through the type of lenses you have.

i tink 25-250 is the most affordable liao. but i still gian the 70-300mm reach leh. but no IS ppl say no use. kao. headache lah
For 70-300mm, unless you get the IS version, otherwise no point.
55-250mm is much affordable though.
wah wah. 2.8 IS....... ryan that means u'll dispose ur 55-250 say in less then 4mths time and jump for the 70-200?? wah. again, sponsers are good!
Eh, it will depend if I can get enough from wedding assignments. If my mum going to sponsor again, I think will be only very little. She is paying my school fees of approx SGD$9k per semester. I felt really bad already. I'm chionging wedding assignments in my upcoming summer break to help cover her load a bit also.

canon 55-250 IS still the most affordable...
if u want cheaper one, can get tamron 70-300 lor..
