question to fellow 450D users, how do i increase the no of shots taken during continuous shooting mode? Mine only shoots only 2 at a time.

Disable High Speed ISO NR.

Going to the dark side would mean having to spend on lenses again..no way I can afford the lecturing from the wife if I do that :sweat:

I won't mind the tele but having a higher ISO rating would be really nice too...have to consider very carefully.

Not all that often but always good to have...now that I have a 17-50 lens without any IS the higher ISO would mean that I can get nice low light shots at faster speed.

Talking about tele, I have found that I have been using my EF-S 55-250 lens alot and like the idea of doing street shots from far. Looking at getting something up to the 400mm range but looking don't know what would be good with our AP-C cam.

Well..I already have a 250mm range so getting a 300mm wouldn't make a very big difference. I'd like to be able to get in close to subjects and capture their emotions. Also 400mm good for nature shots...I like to give that a try.

It's a personal preference. My friend say Canon expensive. Yes. I agree but went come to lenses, IMO, I think the dark side is more expensive. Among all of my shooter friends, 90% are Canons. It's also good because we share lenses. Haha! So the remaining 10% always got lesser stuff to interchange and play when we meet up.

300mm allows you to shoot a certain amount of things but anything up in the sky, you need more than that. Not that 300mm cannot reach but picture mah, you want is details. :bsmilie:

jkk, who/what is 11-9 ah?? original BG is x2 more expensive leh...

Original BG is more expensive and does it comes with the AA battery tray? I think it doesn't right? The Phottix Premium ones comes with it and furthermore, got 6 months warranty from seller whereby Original doesn't have any. ;p

Yup. I will also keep my 450D as backup when the time comes for an upgrade of body. It will be a reliable and handy backup.
