Haha...It's ok bro.
Well, having thirsty hippo in a open cabinet is pretty useless, because the Thirsty Hippo, would be dehumidifying the air from the surroundings. Makes no use and the the Thirsty Hippo will run out faster. Best is to get a dry box or a dry cabinet. It's better on the long run. I've a 50L dry cabinet, which is full right now. Planning to get a 70L soon.

Fungus grows everywhere. I saw mould spots on my FOC Canon bag, after using 1 time. LOL! Had to clean it out.

Tips when you buy second hand items:
1.) Ask for pictures to be shown if you are buying it from B&S section. If no pictures available, request meet up to view the item.
2.) Never confirm the order online. Rather tell the seller, you would like to view the item and if you are satisfied, pay on the spot.
3.) Do some research of the item before buying it 2nd hand. So you can find out existing flaws in the item, or what components should come as standard.
4.) Ask for receipts/identification/prove to be provided, if seller, states there is original warranty left for the item. If possible, take the original receipt, otherwise, ask for a copy and get the seller to Sign with the date on the copy. If personal warranty is stated, make sure the seller is honest enough to honor the personal warranty.
5.) Check the item on the spot and make sure all works.
6.) Embrace the fact, that you might never be able to contact the seller again, for help or troubleshooting.
Hope it helps. Research is very important. A good way to test your seller, is by asking simple questions. If he/she gets easily irritated or doesn't want to answer the questions, then it's not wise buying from them.

Guys, sorry for asking a noob question. What is the procedure to upload picture? Do we need to resize before uploading? Or just upload the original size into image hoster?
If the orignal picture isn't too big, you can upload it direct. I think flickr will do the resizing for you.

but all ur lenses are canon.. so shouldn't back up be a canon too? :dunno:
50D is way too expensive man. I wanna try Nikon too. D90 is not bad. I like the videos as well. Can make some short videos and classic style videos.

i tried taking pics of butterflies, but i find that i need a super zoom rather than a macro lens to really zoom in to them.

I guess you should just do with 2nd hand body such as 400D for backup. Less costly and affordable as backup unit.
