I was just told by Canon staff that this crumpler bag is NOT a camera bag: Not advisable to keep your darling gear...
I believe its just a normal bag for ordinary stuff, but not DSLR gear. ..

my sincere apologies guys ... i think i might have made a mistake ... my friend purchased his eos 500d from another shop and was also entitled to the free crumpler bag when he reg online. think if u all wanna confirm better call canon and check. Sorry for the wrong info.
Ya, I think its better to confirm with other sources first: These staff tending the phone sometimes just want to get rid of u and give u some unproven info that they themselves not sure.... Thanks for pointing that out.

Yes, you DO get the printer as stated in the brochure and confirmed by some bros who already bought it....

I asked them if i can dun get the printer and swap out for smth else... but the person says can't be done... sadded... =(
Guess my Bargaining skills sucks... haha... but I bought mine from SLS... =)

Really comex do have some gd deals..DSLR is definitely not one of it. and now with Bally..all the more :thumbsd:
I have gave up going there. why? yeah u save some money. but to squeeze thru the crowd, to hunt..it is a real pain. at SLS or funan i have the comfort and space to walk. oay a bit more but i can slowly see what i want and not get bump by ppl.
yeah LCD good deal..tell me abt it. all old models..i was shopping for 1 for my new house last time..all old model..new model..my neighbourhood anytime can sell cheaper. COMEX indeed is COMPUTER EXPENSIVE. not worth going to me anymore...free gifts? sometimes i have to think how to or where to store those useless ones. i rather they dun give me.haha but that's me. i went NATAS for my travel ticket...they ask me go here go there change this and that...i gave up. told my wife free luggage not reliable and i still have to think where to put in the storeroom...forget it man...

I had to travel up and down from level 1 to 6 because of the lucky draw.
Level 4 is canon booth
Level 1 is canon redemption counter
Level 6 is lucky draw counter
it's the organizer planning to disperse the crowd, i think can work but i was there first day 2pm to 3pm plus... the crowd wasn't that bad. Weekends will definitely see a larger crowd.

Just some info on buying outside of COMEX:
I don't have need for another printer or tripod, so decided to look elsewhere. Did some homework on Friday before walking around Funan-Peninsular and ended up at Shaw Towers' TK.
500D + 18-55: 1240
Screen Protector: 5
UMC UV filter: 30
Free gifts are nothing fantastic, just a SDHC4 8GB card and a lense book which is currently out of stock (gotta make a return trip next week). Drove down to HarbourFront and collected my EOS crumpler. Remember to bring along official receipt and warranty card before Sep 16th if you're doing the same too
