Canon buy back program

i managed to get my s90 in 3 days. The girl said 5 days but ended up only 3 days come liao. some more i never go collect until they send reminder say if dun collect within one month it will be cancelled. this was just before christmas.

hmm, apparently the safety factor didn't work for me. At first told me one week, next week they called up say must wait another week. Then called them up again and asked, say should come by this 2 weeks. This is my 4th week waiting already.

Canon, please call me to tell me it's ready for collection. haha.

i got 2 encounter, 1st for ixus100IS, told 5 days, collected within 2 days... then S90 says 3 weeks, end up 5th working day they called me for collection... maybe different bodies different situations...

perhaps everything will go back to normal after the year end holidays. Companies are usually short of hands during holidays seasons in logistics/warehouse and other dept. that contributes to the delays in replenishing stock.

I am also waiting for my S90.. almost 2 weeks already.. the last message I got said that no stock and they will send me a notification when the stock arrives.

theirs is with safety factor counted in, normally u get it much faster than quoted...

I was quoted 2 weeks. now it is already 3 weeks liao.. although in the middle of the 2 weeks they did call to inform that it will be delayed.

so things have change. they might not have the stocks now or for watever reasons, I don't know.

this goes the same for oxologic, who have already waited for 4 weeks.

pls do not get me wrong. i'm not complaining even though I've waited for 3 weeks.

just want to raise the awareness that there are people waiting for more than what was originally quoted, and not like those lucky ones that get their cam way before their scheduled time.
