they dun have a trade in value of a particular DSLR.

It depends more on what you use to get what you want.. if you use a PnS, u can trade for any PnS up to a DSLR 500D for a fixed price regardless what PnS u trade in. For SLR/DSLR, you can get up to a 50D for $1509 regardless of what SLR / DSLR u used to trade in.

just pass canon a 1998 prima film camera for a ixus100IS at SGD373 including GST... now waiting for their call to go and collect... pay cash or nets or credit card all the same price... comes with 8GB SD card and a case... other accessories standard...

can any one tell me where to buy a 'knock-off' battery for this ixus100IS...

Called the Canon SC mainline 6799 8888 and they will direct you to the dept which handle it.

Get quote for the model you wanted.
Bring old canon camera to service center 4th floor. take a que number.
Tell them you want this purchase program instead of servicng the cam.
They take your cam and order the new model and will sms you when ready for collection.
Receive sms - proceed to 4th floor service center to collect.

me tot all the 12 months installement u can arrange directly with the card provider.. u dnt need to go via CC if they dnt hv it...

dont think buy back program offer installment. for the installment with card provider. u will need to pay additional fees. based on percentage of total amount. for that u better check with the issue bank

dun think so. the price $1111 (incl GST) for 500D kit1 is already cheaper than retail outside. Comes with a 8GB toshiba SD card and a bag or lens book. this is after you bring in a Canon pns camera for trade.

No one mentioned so I will ask. Must the trade in involve functioning cams ? If possible, will wait to use my 'joker' and subsidise my next upgrade, even though small amount.

so many buyers are taking advantage of this program then selling their Kit 2 lens for exhorbitant price of $900, meaning their 500D body will only cost them <$800

they won't even check whether your camera is working or not... if not at most i just go to toilet and immerse my camera in water...

so far, they just took it in... so those sellers wanting to sell at a profit. buyers, please be informed of this program...
