Generally CP is more expensive than MS. Around 50-75 bucks difference.

I think it's good time to buy overseas if you don't mind the warranty, considering the recent S$ appreciation against US$/HK$/RMB and the foreign dealers maintaining their selling price, you could see a price savings of upto 20%. I got my 7D body only with China warranty (2years from dealer) for SG2K after exchange.
Of course, one consideration would be when you are selling it later, the price could be lower as well if your buyer insist they want a local set. But the whole camera set is imported from Japan. For me, it's still the same, unless I want to sell it within it's warranty period in other countries not covered by the warranty.

Not a bad price.... don't need 'lower end' model CF cards anyway.... If I could afford a 7D, will be buying Hi-Speed UDMA CF Cards. :bsmilie:

No lah. Just got the 100mm Macro L, not extra $$$$ :bsmilie:.... waiting to see 'whats new' with the upcoming EOS 60D 1st. Dare say that many of the 7D's features I would hardly use.
If EOS 60D have -
*19 point AF
*63-zone Metering System like the 7D
*Viewfinder with liquid crystal overlay and near 100% coverage
*Cheaper !!
I would get 60D..... 8fps and all those Dual Axis Electronic Level on the 7D is an overkill for me :sweat:

Just wanna know about the mentioned prices at MS / John / SLR Revol: Is there a surcharge for using nets? Carrying $3 - 4 K in cash is quite difficult to say the least....
