Canon 7D arrival time

*sigh* unfortunately, most people want to get body only. Canon, such foresight.. talk to so many photogs to get ideas for the 7D yet don't realise that most buying this level of camera probably already have lenses and won't be too keen on kit lenses. Either that or they intentionally wanna milk people into buying their kits and reselling the kit lenses. Should release body only 1st or at least together with the kits.

I am getting mine tomorrow with macro.

agree. they shld just buy pure body...else they may end up paying more for it by buying the kit set....well maybe they got more money to burn..

Last heard Cathay selling at ard $1600. Mine from the other shop which I am not sure. Have to wait till tomorrow.

BTW, Macro lens had been fully reserved.

That is interesting, selling higher than the RRP. The lens must be damn popular. :bsmilie:

• EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM: $1,369.00 (available early November)
• EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS: $829.00 (available early October)

I thought normally it takes about few weeks time after the camera body debut for the battery grip to be available.
