Canon 7D arrival time

The difference between 50D and 7D in terms of features is huge. I would definitely get the 7D over the 50D. If you are willing to pay for 7D at S$2500, why not just wait. Beside the 50D is going to be replaced soon anyway.

I bought a Canon Ixus 70 (or 75) cant remember the exact model from Tokyo in 2004 and in Singapore the model did not come till 2005/06. By then, Singapore had a Ixus 60 or something at a higher price.

My point being...i bought a PnS in Jap and 1 year later, the older version came to SIngapore at a higher price.

So do you guys think/know it is the same for the 7D ? Meaning maybe now they already have 7D and selling below 2k??

500D was announced on 25 Mar 09 and I got my 500D in Singapore on 24 Apr 09. So hopefully 7D will be available in Singapore around early Oct 09 :think:
