same price, although some places is more ex. some regular customers who did a pre-order get it at a discount of $41XX.

else, price reported are from $42XX to $44XX.

Actually I find it very funny, you are expecting a newer version to be cheaper than the older version....which camera was launched in that manner?

5D2 is about end-of-life and still sells at above 3k new. I guess you will have to wait 4 years later when the mkIV is launched to get it at that price.

Paying a high price for new FF camera is more or less expected by people who are anticipating it.
