Cannon or Nikon?

Are you sure about this? I do not know how many people practice this, but i am really afraid to borrow my lens, just incase anything happens. Call me selfish or stingy but i never borrow my lens to anyone.

Ya I have a group of friends in school who does that. Buy lens and share among them.. can call them rich.. but I'm your side, I wouldn't wanna borrow my lens to someone else.. even my lomo, I wouldn't lend it to them.. people would tend to call me names like fish seller or what so ever but I don't care.. haha..

N D3000 you mean.

Why don't you consider a used D60 or D40x. They are almost the same as the current D3000. Same sensor and everything.

Hi Guys in ClubSnap!
I'm a newbie here and I'm getting a DSLR camera soon.
But i do not know which brand to get and which is more "comfortable" to wield with.
It's my first time using a DSLR so guys Please give me some advice
If possible , please give me some recommandation of model / brand to get for a begainner .

What's wrong with Olympus, Pentax, Sony... why only Canon or Nikon?

If you like to shoot JPEG directly out of the camera go for Olympus is my opinion. If you plan to shoot raw you can probably use any brand and can get similar results considering you have good lenses and expose right. Whatever you get, try it out first if you can, to see how well the camera fits your hands.
