Can get Brand new Canon EOS 10D @ S$2650

Hi Folks,

I can get Brand new Canon EOS 10D. However, there are limited stock. 1 April is the launch date, but seems that it's sold out before the launch.

It include GST. Thanks for the response. Due to short supply of EOS 10D, the distributor have increase the price to S$2750nett now. I will keep you folks posted if the price are lower again. Hear that it will be back to S$2650 in the next shipment. Maybe this weekend. If you cannot wait and would like to pay S$2750, do give me a call @ 9827-1936.

I went down to Cathay to buy yesterday but they were closing.

Dropped by another shop in the area, and they advised me to wait 3-4 weeks... they expect to be able to get it for me at S$2500 in early April.

$2500??? including GST? WOW!!!

Yeah, I was told $2500 is the ACTUAL price it should be selling at ... but like the D30 and D60 previously, Canon price it higher for the first batch to the folks willing to pay more.

Same shopowner told me that it may be possible to get a parallel imported one for $2300 or $2400 sometime in April ... but I think since new DSLRs can be problematic, I would rather pay the $100-200 more for the local warranty.

BTW, these are the cash prices. So if you are not in a hurry, wait a while and see :dent:

wah 2500 ah....hmmm maybe i should seriously start to consider 2nd hand D60/D30s now hehe. btw dropped by John3:16 juz now and was quoted 2850 if any1's interested.

Wow !....thought the AP ran out of them yesterday.....looks like this time they would not want a repeat of the D60 shortage...

also heard that John 3:16 has 2 sets left....CP should have more....no need to rush.....

Prices should stabilize in a week or two.....


but then again...some of the shop people say the next shipment is in July.....hmm...true or not:dunno:
