Cameron Highland Self-Drive Photo Trip

Just to ask, how long is the drive there and whats the approx cost for the trip? I don't mind going in Feb or March. I can always take a day or too off and have a long weekend.

Drive is around 6 to 7 hrs, straight from Singapore to the top of Cameron Highlands with some stop over along the highway. Go by the new link between the north e-ways n south e-ways that bypass KL city.

Estimate cost around S$150 to S$200 per person based on 4 person in a car, toll, petrol n hotel (Peak Season). If u plan to travel around cameron n to cities like Ipoh or Malacca for stop over or shopping, prepare additional S$50 to S$100 per person.

Our grp are actually planning a trip to Cameron again in May where the weather is good n it's flower booming season. If u r interested, PM me. Try not to drive to n fro on same day, ya car might burn out after that. Also, u need 2 drivers if u r not custom to driving long journey.

You can drive up from Tapah & drive to Ipoh via Kg Raja exit Simpang Pulai.

You can drive to Cameron from Tapah & drive to Ipoh via Kg Raja exit Simpang Pulai.

Better to use the Simpang Pulai turn-off as the road is wider and has less bends even though you have to drive further up north than the Tapah exit. It's worth it.
