Hi all,

care to share your preferences or experiences with us about the camera shops you have went to?

WILL GO :thumbsup:
John 3:16 at Funan
the service is good, the staff are knowledgeable to answer my enquiries and recommend me good equipments and accessories to suit my needs.
the price are pretty good too.


WILL NOT GO :thumbsd:
Bally Photo at Funan
it's my personal experience, i think they are kinda rude.
they will anyhow recommend things which you don't know how to use and psyco you to buy it and the price are usually MUCH MORE HIGHER than other shops. :angry:


for newbies, do more research and survey before buying or you might regret.

Will go-TK photo, cathay photo, ms color, john 3:16(highly recommeded due to their super friendly attitude)

will not go-Edison photo @ sim lim square, rude service orientation, challenge its customer on pricing.

Good service all round and for J3:16, it's pretty crowded at times but overall they give good services. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Will not go: Song Bros, Bally & Camera World

Not that I got conned but saw how they treated their potential customers. :thumbsd::thumbsd:

What's the point of this thread? unless it is an advert for your preferred shop? there are horror stories for J3:16 as well as good ones and for that matter other shops as well... right in this very same forum. Too many links to mention.

The thing about buying is check your prices, if you know how much it costs with gst and local warranty and brand new and all other shops don't have but Bally whatever shop has it and meet your price expectation you will not buy? come on lah!

It is not the shop that matters... it is getting the stuff you want at fair and reasonable price and maybe service is something that is subjective lah... some sales person can be nice on a good day and have a bad attitude on another, aren't we all but human?

J316 not so good lah.
Getting a bit tired of posts gushing how good it is...blah.... Some (not this post by TS) are a bit over the top and thus suspiciously flattering. We who have been to the various shops know better.

Hi five, will never go there too. The guy smoke his cigerette fumes into my face when i was talking to him regarding tripods. Its like you owe them something, with their lousy attitude.

did you talk to Florence regarding the issue? i am sure she will give you the freebies once a tele quote was disclose to the customer. From a company which is highly reputable i am sure that small cost for the extra freebies is absorable.
