Anyone bought their Epl-5 from USA side and have already received their camera, just to check do you received the camera in good condition? I'm thinking of ordering from B&H too. Dual len kit, if including shipment, the price is much cheaper than local. Just worry, when i received the items, is it in good condition..

The pwp 40-150 is at $99? I thought I saw it at Amazon for $199 when I checked the black friday deals. So I thought the EPL TLK is $798 usd. If it is $698, I would have bought liao!:angry::cry:

Is the warranty worldwide? or US warranty?
Is the battery charger cable a US plug one?
Does it comes with the default standard grip? coz i realised the descriptions in adorama never include the standard grip in the description.

i think the $99 is only if you buy WITH the single lens kit (hence becoming TLK) ... i almost wanted to buy the TLK too but in the end i didn't need additional 2 lens (when i already have 3 lens) so i end up getting just the body only...

i ordered from adorama and i didn't go and see the detailed description... i had tot the grip comes as "default" ... now that u mentioned it.... yeah it didn't mention about the grip... however at BHG the grip is mentioned... so hopefully the box is a standard package thing so all the items inside are the same no matter where u buy from...

battery charger i expect it to be US plug since it's sold from US...

as for warranty... olympus singapore is one of the distributors that recognizes international warranty so yes i believe the warranty applies here too...

Silver body will go with practically any leatherette colour, problem is the black grip... get a black lizard skin if you plan to use the grip, then again, black lenses will look out of place! :dunno: :bsmilie:

Received mine yesterday.



Coming from a E-PL2 user, 1st impression, welcome the new sensor but body not as ergonomic as the E-PL2 esp the grip. Have to get use to the buttons layout as well. Need some time to get used to it.
