For a S$400 cap max no. of sets is only 4 Duo's..am i right?

Who wants to buy now? i am ordering. 2 Duo sets for myself.

As I recall from my overseas shipping experience there are a few ways to cope with the limit.

1. Lie (not recommended.) You can ask Gadget Infinity to devalue the products. Like order 100 sets and put $400 value. But if customs find out, I don't know any of you at all.
2. The $400 DOES NOT include what the company charged for shipping, so really even with $400 you can squeeze in 5 boxes, or even 6 and still look reasonable. (Just remember to ask to Gadget Infinity to not label the value as above $400)
3. (Best way). Ask Gadget Infinity to split the package into 2 boxes. It's that simple. Put it in the 'additional comments' section in the order form explaning the $400 customs limit. If they have an arrangement with FedEx, then you could put into two separate boxes at no extra charge.

I believe that the 400 sing limit is value of the item inclusive of shipping. So you need to make sure that the cost of item PLUS shipping do not exceed 400.

Strange, the last time I asked a customs official, he said just value of item, not shipping. Maybe because shipping service has already been completed by the time the package arrived.

i think at the most can get around 6 - 7 sets of the duo, so as not to exceed 400.

but who will by my plus IIs now, hahaha with more reliable triggers out there. :dunno:

yes u are right. The shipping does not count, they only count the value of the item. lol

After thinking for a while I think I will withdraw from buying for the following reason:
-I am using rf-602. Compare to it, this trigger have a advantage if I shoot at 1/200 and 1/2 to full power. With rf-602 there will be slight banding.
-The risk of combine 2 system
-There triggers are too big
-With this speed of trigger development, soon there will be affordable third party TTL trigger that work well ( phottix helios, rf603 pass through, etc). That will be real upgrade from my rf-602
-The additional trouble with the bottom screw hole

If only I you guys are half month earlier discuss this, before I buy the rf-602. I would have buy this. Recommend this for people who want it as first trigger

I've estimated I've used all 4 for about 7-8 hours total but still have not seen a low batt indicator. Will post when I finally see it

Oh yea I forgot to mention that. The orange light will flicker when batt is low. I have not seen it yet thou. Only read it in the manual.

I've been using it with a yongnuo 460ii. Absolutely zero probs. It will work with any flash that triggers via centre pin..

Haha I recommend u start the MO then post link here so all those interested will actually start acting. You can just put minimum 5 orders or something if not just cancel it.
