Buying Nikon Lens in Australia

Hi Folks,

Will NSC honour warranty for a Nikon lens bought in Australia retailer? IIRC, lens are international warranty while Body's not. Correct me if I'm wrong... but with the Aussie dollars = Sing dollars and lower retail price ...plus another 10% tax rebate from Aussie airport... it's really tempting......:sweat:

Thanks all! sounds tricky if need to go back to NSC for servicing though.... however the price is really too tempting... almost 20% less than buying in Singapore.

judging from the link above, lenses will have international warranty, so nikon sg shldnt have a reason not to honour the warranty. haha that means dont wait anymore, just buy! :devil:

Lens have interantional warranty and will be honored by Nikon Singapore. But take note, please keep the receipt or copy of it, as they will look for receipt for proof of date of purchase apart from the warranty card

Ya.... I knew about these 2 stores in Sydney... .... however, my friend is in Perth la.....wahahaha.......
Really feel like flying to Sydney straight to grab the lens, plus a short holiday.... So tempting isn't it..

Just make sure they are authorized Nikon dealer. Can double check from Nikon's list of authorized dealer else they will not honor the warranty.
