not possible.
I asked before Sony wisma before.
u need to fax some documents (receipts/warranty paper??) to Sony HK, which will post you the tourist warranty to singapore.

oh so there is still a possibility to do it from Singapore by contacting Sony HK am i right? you done that before?

I have not done that before, can't help you more than what I learned from Sony SG.

This query happened before I purchased a camera 2nd hand
the camera in question, carried a HK warranty, and before purchasing, I wanted to confirm with Sony SG whether the warranty can be converted.

in the end, to avoid the hassle I did not go through with the second hand deal.

I just got a reply from Sony HK and you can just email your dslr body serial number to their warranty support team to verify the product is hk official product and they will mail you back the tourist limited warranty.
Their respond to email is good, faster than Sony SG.
