happen to see this on the way to chingrai...i was at chingmai for 2 days...the Loy Krathong festival is great...festival mood

Huh!!!! Fly all the way there to shoot butterfly!!!! It better be a prize winning one... Anyways.. thsi one quite rare. :-};p

haha...not so crazy abt butterflies la...juz happen to see at resting station on the way to chingrai and outside hotel.
why so stress and think of prize winning photo :dunno:
i juz go shoot and enjoy...never think of anything...came back busy wif work lucky this few days boss not in...can relax abit :bsmilie:
next time don't get involve in PSS la...more time to shoot!!

didn't bring macro lens...all shoot with 24-105mm Hi guys,
I am finally back from HK. Didn't really shoot much, kinda limited time to explore especially so much construction blocking the road preparing for F1 race.
1 thing to share, juz bought a 17-40mm F4L lens from Wing Shing (HKD5,550). Their prices and service are indeed much better than Tin Cheung. They offered credit card payment similar to cash price which means no additional charges for credit card or cash and the price was similar to what Tin Cheung has quoted for cash payment only.
Location at Wing Shing was good too, just at Fa Yuen Street near to the sports shoes street.
They also allow testing of lens and even lend me a blower to clear off any dust.
Bought a Cokin ND8 Filter from there too since Cathay always Out of Stock. Bought at HKD169 equivalent to S$30.70, Same price or slightly cheaper than SG? So if got chance to drop by there, do drop by there and get some camera stuff.

lens slightly cheaper...i think the cokin abt the same price.
all butterflies using handheld, 24-105. Only managed to shoot few butterflies outside hotel and along the way at rest station/toilet break :bsmilie::bsmilie:
I'll post other photos when free...came back too tired & busy with work...no time to see all the pics...

long neck - hill tribe...stay at hill!...i think original from burma. They're sitting at their "stall" waiting for tourist to buy the silk scarf...some will smile when we take their pic...very clean and quiet place too...simple lifestyle!
