Great job! Very refreshing perspectives. Don't agree with some of the PP, but nevertheless I think that is what you prefer/like, so be it.

Dearchivism, may I share how I feel about this one? The partially cut-away yacht on the left side seems to be a little bit of distraction. Perhaps I suggest cropping it off to just right before the left side of the centre yacht. This would create two yachts side by side, but the sun being above the left yacht would certainly be the centre of attraction.

This one, yes, is your favourite type of sun with a thin strand of cloud in front of it, helping to block off some of the rays. The sun is an attraction. But in my opinion, I felt that the centre chunk of the photo is a grey of nothingness patterned by only a halo. The land at the bottom is too far below to be of any weight. Maybe allow me to suggest, bring the sun and the land a little close to each other.

These are but my humble opinion. What do you think?

To limwhow :
that is a nice input for me to improve the composition. thanks alot for that, nice advice too ;p

# 30 Crossing (The Bridge near Esplanade, Marina Bay, Singapore, 2008)
this is one of my first photos shoting using the dslr (nice or not, i still love this photo as a part of my journey in learning photography and this photo also motivated me to learn....try....explore.....and shot..shot...shot.....), a bit shaking because it was quite dark (and also putting the name tag, abit distrubing the photos leh, hahaha). .poor me lah, than i read from clubsnap about some tips to avoid shaking (like incresing iso, using wide aperture lens, using flash, using tripod, etc). i began to use and shot with dslr from April 2008, almost 1,5 year (from now, September 2009, still a beginner leh). And i also want to thanks to all of you and clubsnap forum, i learn alot and still need to lear more and more from all of you in this forum, cheer ;p

Hi there again. This is my second post to this thread of yours and I must say that I'm really impressed with your creative mind and how you translate these into really powerful pics. I like most of them, but I think the one above is really very very good - it's like what the famous french photog Henri Cartier-Bresson called "The Decisive Moment". Good job.

Great Pictures.
I love them all.
hope to take pictures like you do.
