Hi dude I really fall in love with ur photography here!! I am a beginner in landscape photography and I love the photo 354 here. Care to share how's the setting of ur camera and apture and shutter speed to take that photo? Many thanks^^

and i used ND filter Half color (gradual) 4 to block the over exposed sky / turned down the brightness of the sky + used camera setting DRO (Dynamic Range Optimizer) +1 to brightern the shaded parts of the object (so the object will not so dark because of the shadow and the effect of ND filter).
if i am allowed to share some of my opinion about doing landscape photography :
Manual Mode (M) is a good mode for this purpose coz it will help photographer to create anykind of exposure that he wants and takecontrol 100% of the camera for making photos based on what he wants (style, color, brightnes, focus, etc)
Try to wake up ealier and take photo during morning time (sunrise until 2 hours after sunrise) will give a better oppurtunity for making good photos
Keep on learning, developing and exploring photography based on you own (interest, way, etc), express your original feeling and style so it will enhance your photos and make them become more original (which is different from others). Photography is part of ART, so you have freedom to create your own photography and make it unique and interesting.
If possible, try to shoot without tripod (shooting with tripod is good but photographer also should be able to shoot without tripod during daytime / enough light), which will give you more freedom to capture many angles, to make you more flexibel walking around to find good angles, to feel the surrounding and you will have more oppurtunity capture many different things (including more opportunity for capturing moment, example moment of people doing fishing or doing cycling around the area). It will give you more time for shoting many things during golden time when the sun rise / sunset light is pretty. Not everyday we can find a good sunlight in the morning / afternoon so we should optimize the golden time that we have.
And.......Happy Shooting.......with happiness it will make everything become more interesting, more easy going and bringing out all your potensial + desire for making good photos ;p

i use Cokin Filter, which contains of 3 elements ( i bought them from Cathay Photo, total cost was less then 100 Sing Dollar) :
Cokin - Creative System - How it works.
1. Filter ND (Neutral Density) Gradual /Graduated/ Half color 4.
Cokin - Filters - Be creative.
2. Filter Holder (to put and hold the filter), make sure you use the filter holder for ultra wide angle lens (slim type) so there will be less vignate (cos bloked by the edge of the filter holder) at the corner of the photos
Cokin - Z-Pro Series - The most advanced filter system.
3. Ring Adaptor ( to attach the filter holder with front part lens). Make sure you bring your camera + lens when you come to the store so the diameter of the ring adaptor is match with your front part lens. you can see / check the diameter number of the lens from you lens cap.
You can go for the Z- PRO Series (which is good quality already) or if you are fine with the budget you can also go for X-PRO Series (which is better but more expensive). You can search from internet and also can ask question and discuss with the sales at the store about it before you decide to buy the filter (s).
Filter types also alot, ND Gradual is only one among the other filter types. Other brands are Lee, Singh Ray, etc. There are alot of choises to use. Hopefully you can get the most suitable filter for your photography

Yes, photo # 357 Color of The Morning 225 (Punggol Water Front, Singapore, 2013) was taken using ND Gradual 4 in jpeg format, there was minor adjustment for rotating the horizon and brightness during PP (post production) using Photoshop CS 3. Thank you for dropping by and for the appreciation.
