about 11 years ago one wannabe wedding photographer who happen to be our member, stole photos from another local professional photographer's website, who also happen to be our member. and use the photos on his own website as his portfolio.
this wannabe wedding photographer's action was exposed and created a storm in the circle, he was labeled as a fake photographer and the words spread around in many wedding forums. many couples who booked him stop using him, and the rest would avoid him like the plague.
from what I heard he paid a huge sum for the copyright infringement as an out of court settlement with the professional photographer.


so what is the moral of this story?
stealing works from others and claim as ones own is lying to oneself, their customers, and to those who put trust on him, he has no credibility at all, can not be trusted.
his action will simply put an early end to his own career.

I suspect at least one, if not all of them are good in web site building, copy writing and SEO, but poor in EQ and zero in integrity.

as for their photography skills, see it for yourself lor, but they have remove their social media site already.
