Just a thought - prices of the bags sold by local agent(s) and stores in UK seem quite competitive given the current exchange rate?

Am pondering whether to get one there while am there in 2 weeks' time, or save hassle and buy it locally from the mentioned shops &/or agent(s)...

...any, erm, point of view to share regarding this?

buy in UK is cheaper. can get tax refund as well.

Agree with you. Buy in UK and claim you VAT at the airport.

Yeah buying from UK will be cheaper.

I am puzzled why Singapore prices for Billingham is so expensive even though the distributor does not need to pay VAT. HK prices is closer to UK prices. Singapore is the most expensive and that is even if you buy from PK Chan the distributor himself. Buy from the local resellers even worst. Best to get from UK or HK when you are there for holiday.

Thanks for your views ppl...much appreciated! Guess I shall then make an attempt to visit one of the shops there...

For those of you who own a Billingham Large, how do you guys stow your tripod when you go travelling? Anyone tried hooking it to the side of the bag?

Owned a black Billingham Large. Normally will just carry my tripod in my hand or store it in its bag and carry it with me when I need the tripod. Tried hooking it to the side of the bag and felt it too cumbersome and uncomfortable.

Thanks bro. Looks like no other alternative.

No problem. Think for shoulder bags it is very cumbersome to bring along a tripod. Tried that on a few occasions and left the tripod at home in the end. Maybe the Vanguard Ultra-Luxi range of tripod will be small enough to carry inside the Hadley Large. Haven't tried it though cos the tripod is too short for me. Hope you find the solution to solve the problem.

Can the Hadley pro fit the 5D Mk3 with 24-105 kit + 580EX? Anyone advice? Also, how do we tell the difference between the canvas and fibrenyte?

Yes, it can fit 5D3 with kit lens mounted + 580EX + one more lens.

highly recommend billingham hadley original, good camera bag!!

U mean Hadley large right? Isn't it too big?

hi, will Hadley Small fit an A77 + 16-50 kit lens?
i google and found tat it fit Nikon D700 but bag's middle part will protruded outward a bit.
A77 is slightly smaller than D700 though...
need a small bag, Hadley Pro a tad too big for my liking...

Hi guys..Which is a better choice, 207 or 307 for the following gears:

1) D7000 gripped + 17-55 F2.8
2)Tokina 11-16 F2.8
3) 70-200 F2.8 VRII
4) 35 F1.8
5) Lee filter set
6) SB-700
7) Lens pen and blower

Thanks for the input guys!

I have the 307 and I can tell you that the 70-200 UNATTACHED to the body will just about fit in. Definitely won't fit with camera attached.

Then again I use canon so am not too sure if Nikon's 70-200 is significantly shorter but I doubt it.

The rest should fit in fine. As for Lee filters, if you are only using the pouch that came in the set it should fit into front pocket. As I use the 10 filter pouch from Lee, I have to slot it at one end of the bag and it's a pretty tight fit.

Anyone know where I can purchase the rectangular inserts/dividers? Need to purchase 2 for my Hadley small...

Thanks :)

anyone bought the hadley pro from HK?..

i was quoted 1300HKD for it..
which is around SGD$210 but out of stock..

was i quoted wrongly?.. or did the guy intentionally quoted very low because he has no stock and hoping i will go back to them?

Can anyone post pics of their Billingham bags? after months of usage preferably
