Hi guys,

I'm looking for a billingham bag, but not sure which model to get. So I hope to get some advice from y'all experts.

What I've now are 500D with BG, Sigma 50mm and Tamron 17-50. Though I'm planning to move on to full frame in a few months time. It would be good if the bag "squeeze" in an A4 size folder.

Thank you! (:

Would recommend the 307 for you bro. If you can remove the BG to travel light, the Hadley Large will do fine. No problem for the A4 folder in the large but for the 307, you need to do a bit of micro-surgery at the back to remove the strings separating the back into 2 compartments so that it will form one big compartment. I have no problem squeezing in my laptop or iPad 2 after I did the surgery. :)

^Thank you, I'll look up on those two models. Is there a price list anywhere by chance?

Meanwhile, I'd like to hear from the others before I make a decision.

Thanks in advance. (:

hmm i m now looking at the hadley pro and hadley large. What's the different between this to??

Wonder if you can share or pm me which Ebay seller?

I just bought a F2.8 and an avea03 from 2 different eBay sellers from Korea. Item definitely looks and feels genuine, no doubt about that. They also come with the same tags and warranty cards in white and the nice dust bags.

Surprisingly they also came with hard boxes which I never saw before when purchasing from pk Chan.

Anyone else have their bags come with boxes b4?

difference between Hadley Pro and Hadley Large? the size and height.

btw, i decided not to go with G-market or evil bay sellers. bought straight from P K Chan.

anyways, why would you want the hard box for? it just takes up space.

also P K Chan also advised on how billingham checks for counterfeits. basically there are 2 types of identification codes on the bag itself

So you finally decided to dive in. What did you buy from Mr. Chan?

Hadley Pro can fit a D300s with grip & 24-70 attached? ;p

I bought 1 Billingham from Korea too. came with a nice box!
Verified the serial number with UK and confirm genuine :)
Hi can I check w u which eBay seller u got from? Tried to pm u but inbox full ;)

both the bag is the same price and the difference is only the size and the height?

Is it advisable to not to get the shoulder pad?

I never found a need for it.

For me, the shoulder pad proved immensely useful. It made the bag much more comfortable to carry for long periods of time.

Same! The smaller bags maybe one can do without the shoulder pad but I think it is a must for the bigger bags. Have one on my 307 and Hadley Large now, also for my previous 107 and 445. Can imagine carrying them fully loaded without the pad.

Yup same here. These bags get heavier by the hour so the SPs really serve their purpose. I just love how fat the pads are.

Hmm I just got the SP yesterday from Mr Chan (extremely friendly man) for another non-Billingham bag, a luggage bag of sorts
Had no intention of buying any Billingham bags before... but now... why does the leather smell so nice?!

Hello, this is my first post in clubsnap. This particular thread was helpful to me as I was looking to buy some Billingham bags -- one of my criteria (but not the only one) included a bag which could carry a macbook air 13" and my camera equipment. The hadley pro definitely meets that criteria but the 1.4 does not (not wide enough). The 307 dimensions suggest the 13" will fit but there is a stitched seam in the middle of the bag both front and back. Someone else posted that you can cut the internal back stitching on the 307 and a macbook air would fit -- I can confirm that is true. Without cutting the stitching, even an iPad won't fit. The 307 outside back pocket (zippered) is too small - even putting the iPad on its side in the back pocket, it is almost impossible (meaning very, very tight) to zipper shut. Again, if you are willing to cut the internal back stitching on the 307, which doesn't seem to impact the integrity of the bag, a macbook air 13" and iPad will easily fit inside.

Hope this helps someone else who may be interested.

BTW - has anyone confirmed a macbook air 13" will fit in a 207?

Yupz I think I was the one who posted that I cut the stitching to fit my laptop in my 307. Confirmed true. In fact, I find the 307 much more versatile after cutting the stitching!

Not too sure about the 207 though since I haven't played with one before. Anyne else can advise?

Hi guys, was thinking a getting a hadley for my m4/3 gear. Anyone can suggest which one should I get?
Currently have a e-p3 + 3 primes and a zoom. Maybe adding another body in the near future.

Thanks and Happy New Year.
