hadley pro for you, bro lucifer06...

Hi guys, was thinking a getting a hadley for my m4/3 gear. Anyone can suggest which one should I get?
Currently have a e-p3 + 3 primes and a zoom. Maybe adding another body in the near future.

Thanks and Happy New Year.

hadley series is not bad.

Hadley series are nice! Would recommend a bigger bag like the Hadley large so that you have more room for expansion. Will also double up as a very nice and classic work bag as well. :)

Hi guys, thanks for ur suggestions. Will contact Mr Chan and view the bags. Cheers and have a great weekend.

So you finally decided to dive in. What did you buy from Mr. Chan?

Just the Hadley Pro, side pouch and shoulder pad. my friend bought the exact same bag the same day after i did :bsmilie:

he's too much poison :bsmilie:

both the bag is the same price and the difference is only the size and the height?

won't comment on the price. the Large should be more expensive. but for my needs i got the Hadley Pro. i won't discuss the price here as requested by Mr Chan

The Hadley Pro should fit everything nicely + ipad too! :)

Hi, would need some advise. D700 + 28-75 + 24/2.8 and SB600 and maybe a another prime like a 85/1.4 or 105/2.5 + wallet and random nonsense - Can it fit into a Hadley pro?

Plan to use this bag for school too by remove the inserts. Will the hadley pro fit a MBP 13" ?

There isnt much difference in terms of size for the Pro and Large right..?

Wow that is a lot of gears to fit into the Hadley Pro bro. You using a grip for your D700? If yes the Hadley is a no go I think cos the camera will make the bag jut out very ugly to me.

If no, i think the Hadley large would be better cos you have more room to play with and can better organize the space which ever way you like. Large is bigger than Pro bro. Maybe you can google the dimensions and try to visualize it. Cheers!

Even ungripped I find the Hadley Pro too narrow for the D700 - it can fit but creates an unsightly bulge. I have since sold my Hadley Pro for this reason and am checking out the wider 07 series.

The dividers for Hadley pro is not suitable for D700 too... i am looking at the 307 now..
Anyone knows if 307 can take in D700 + 2-3 lenses plus ipad 2?

!!! really? how about putting the camera lens down? Was the bulge still present? coz thats how i put my camera into my current domke f6.

surprised that the newer range of hadley pro n the 5 series no longer ships with the shoulder pad.

my hadley pro, bought in 2005, costs me around S$300+/. and the 335 (bought in late 2003 or early 2004), around S$452. both comes with their respective shoulder pad.

wonder who much a brand new one cost now?

regardless, billingham camera bags are my best ever camera bag purchases.

Have not used a Pro before but am currently using the Large for my 5DII. Fits ok if you ask me. The bulge is there but it is nicely camoflage by the front pockets of the bag and also the larger size and the "puffiness" of the bag helps a lot.

Using the 307 now. Can nicely fit my gripped 5Dii with 35L, 70-200, 50MP, 580exii flash and Fuji X100 in the main compartment. I removed the stitches from the back pockets so that it can fit my iPad2 as well. All these in still have plenty of space for other accessories like wallet, handphones, blower, etc. one thing to note though. It will be very heavy!!!

Yeah I think only the 07 and 5 series ship with the shoulder pad now. For the Hadley and others have to buy separately. Think around $70-$80 or so buy new.

I agree! It is the most handsome and functinal camera bag I ever had! :)
