Actually, decided to order domke F-804 from bhphoto. As well.
Bro, how much they quoted you?
i dun know how it compares, but bhphoto uses more expensive shipping rite? i bought from an ebay seller called photococan three times alr...have to wait about 2 weeks though...but definitely cheaper than cathay in singapore...and they use usps shipping....

if you have a friend in the uk, perhaps you could ask him to bring it back for you when he next visits
with current exchagne rates around 2.7, that's 561. they don't ship overseas though. most good uk sites don't ship overseas. :sweat:

Thanks for sharing tanjonhan. But I realised that the ebay store you mentioned don't carry the full range of Domke bags so some models they don't have. And you are right, it seems bhphoto the shipping charges are pretty high.
Does anyone has any further recommendations on where is a good online place to get Domke bags?

B&H price and shipping cost are pretty standard. For Domke F-804, USD $120 and I normally used UPS to ship back with is USD $50~. The reason why I like B&H is their availability of the items.

Thanks! Gearing towards either a 804 or Packington now.. just need to know if Packington can fit my gear of
1. Dell 620 (14" screen - Length I believe is about 33cm)
2. K200D + DA Limited 35mm f2.8 Macro
3. K20D + DA Limited 70mm f2.4
That'll be all I need in my bag...and I am pretty sure F-804 would fit all that, but just wanted an option if Packington's going to work as well.

Get it from Adorama. I just got my Domke J1 from them. Free shipping to vpost usa, just pay for the shipping from vpost usa to sg.
Wow, for real? The inserts I got have 'disintegrated' and there is a large amount of dust-like residue at the base.
As for Mr Chan, I'll have to do a search on CS to find out more about him. Otherwise I'll see to emailing Billingham UK. Thanks so much for the heads up!

From one of the CSer, IIRC he said that Mr. Billingham actually sent him the replacement FOC and indicated that they will be changing the material in the inserts to cater for tropical weather in their future products.
Here is Mr. Chan's contact. He is quite a nice guy and quite accommodating. However, he might not be in the position to give you FOC inserts replacement.
