Just wondering, other than the price tag, why is the Billingham bag in such low demand here? I had called OP to ask for the Hadley Pro and was disappointed to find out they do not have the black w/ black leather trim version in stock but the price is not too far off from the $310 as suggested by bros here. Will head down to take a look and who knows, my TTP stuffs may be up for sale again ;p

Plan to change brand?

Yah, still in search for the holy grail :)

Perhaps, depends on how well the Hadley Pro fits my current equipment. The Change Up is great but not versatile enough to carry books/magazines/laptop when need be. The bellow pockets of the Hadley can also put stuffs like wallet and handphone which now have to be kept in the ATOS. Maybe I can live with using a shoulder bag if it is not too heavy...

How did your bag collection go? Any more Domke bags for you? ;)

Yap on the way....F-804....very disappointed with the local market. The variety is not there. They always go for the popular ones. :(

A word of advise, keep your Change Up....it can be useful in some situation. :)

I have a question.

Whats the difference between the materials Ballistic Black and Black Canvas?

Anyone has both bags?

I had ordered online a ballistic black but was offered a black canvas.

Will keep it if only I have the extra dough  It will have to go for me to get the Hadley Pro, if I am getting it...

Sacrificing once desire to satisfying another. I understand.

the ballistic nylon is like those waterproof material on lowepro. the canvas is like the old primary school bags.

Wish to ask the bros here if it is possible to fit a D300 with L-bracket in the Billingham Hadley Pro with attached lens facing down? And how does the AVEA03 pouch attach to the Hadley Pro?

I have another question too: what is the best/recommended way of maintaining the cleanliness of the bag's exterior? For instance, after a day out, how should I get rid of little water stains and/or dust on the bag?

Thanks in advance.

Just gotten my J3 from B&H. The quality is great! My photography skill seems to up +10bhp carrying that bag haha. Highly recommended

For Domke bags, you only need to throw them in the washing machine once every six month or even once a year :bsmilie::bsmilie:

Oops, should have mentioned that I was referring to my Billi.

Thanks! Gearing towards either a 804 or Packington now.. just need to know if Packington can fit my gear of
1. Dell 620 (14" screen - Length I believe is about 33cm)
2. K200D + DA Limited 35mm f2.8 Macro
3. K20D + DA Limited 70mm f2.4

That'll be all I need in my bag...and I am pretty sure F-804 would fit all that, but just wanted an option if Packington's going to work as well.

Hi, I'm using a Packington currently. It can fit the following:
1. IBM X-series notebook
2. Canon 40D + grip (lens detached)
3. 17-40 F4L lens
4. 70-200 F2.8L lens
5. 2 portable hard disks (Left side pocket)
6. 1 430EX flash (Right side pocket)
7. Lumiquest pocket bouncer, CF cards, card reader, lens pen, blower, wallet, keys, handphone etc. (Front left pocket)
8. Ipod touch, earphones, PDA etc. (Front right pocket)

Very roomy!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

When and where did you buy your Packie?
How much did it cost you?

Wow didn't know the Packington is so roomy! I'm keen to know the above too! By the way does the Packington comes with those padded inserts for one to arrange the lenses and camera body etc or must buy separately? And are there any pics showing the inside of this bag to get a better feel of how big this bag is? Thanks.

Yup, very roomy :) I was choosing between the Hadly Pro, Hadly Large & Packington but decided on the Packington cos my 1D (built-in grip) couldn't fit in the Pro or Large... other deciding factors are the 4 pockets & bundled leather shoulder strap!

Yes, it comes with the padded inserts, I don't really have any pics of the bag at the moment though, but u can prob check it out at the shops to really decide which one u like...
