Ooh I see.

I'm not sure if John 3:16 can bring in Domkes. I remember a friend ordering a J1 from them before...not sure if they can bring in other models. That said, I'd be quite paiseh if they brought it in and I found that I can't fit in the gear that I want to. :bsmilie:

nvr seen it there before. i only seen lowepro and crumpler bags there.

i'm in love :heart::heart::heart:

hadley pro is now my work-bag.

it oso can squeeze in laptop plus 1 body, 1 lens and 1 flash.

otherwise jus documents and files.

best buy for me!

think i paid around S$220 back then... i can't recall.
:bsmilie:

Oh, no they don't stock up on them, but I think they can order for people if they ask. Haha.

ultraportable laptop maybe, my one won't fit.. just a little bit too big, but never was one to bring laptops around. using this only cos not very convenient to transport desktop from sg to ldn and vice versa.

S$220? when was that

That is a very very very good deal. I don't think today prices are anywhere near that. Oh well. No billi's on BnS either, so the wait continues.

i got my F2 from tin cheung for about $170, and that was when the HKD was 5 to 1 sgd. now at 5.6 or 5.7, it's waaaay cheaper.

for waterproof sprays, can use the 3M scotchgard. about 13-15 a can, use for long time. can find in hardware shops or NTUC hardware section. take note, it might give the fabric a darker colour, so try it on a small part at the bottom first to see if you can live iwth the colour. need to apply 2-3 coats for a good water repellent finish. i used that in the army to waterproof the backside of my pants. no more wet underwear! haha

You think can fit a 14inch (Dell's latitude D620), and a DSLR with prime lens? Or better still 2 DSLR with primes lens on.

Can share photograph of it with Laptop in? VERY MUCH APPRECIATED if can. If not, I understand. ;)

external dimensions:
Width 13 3/4"
Depth 4 3/4"
Height 9 3/4"

internal
Width 12 1/2"
Depth 2 3/4"
Height 8 3/4"

13" maybe cos can stretch a little.

14.. i think might be a tight fit. probably not advisable. maybe get a bigger big, the billingham range is wideeeee

Bro,

Heard from a friend Cathay is gonna stop bringing in any more Domkes. Not sure how true this is...

I think so......they don't have Domke F-804. :(

Hi Guys,

Need some advises.

I need to pack these items in a bag

Items
1) 2 bodies (1D MK3 and 5D (without grip))
2) 70 - 200mm f2.8 IS
3) 16 - 35mm f2.8 MK2
4) 24 - 70mm f2.8
5) 15" laptops
6) 3 ThinkTank Cable Management 10, stuff with accessories (Dim: 7.5” L x 2.25” W x 3.75” H)
7) 3 Walkie Talkies

Currently, I had sourced two bags

1st Bag - Domke F-804 Super Satchel
Remarks: I can stuff quite a number of items into this big bag. Most propbably with combined with Think Tank Skin series to create a hybriad combination or can get a 3 partition inserts to put the lens and bodies.

2nd Bag - Billingham (Packington)
Remarks: No knowledge about this bag. Did not have any physical contact about it. But it has the capability to put the above items.

Questions
1) Any personals who had these bags can voice their reviews and comments?

2) For Billingham bags, is there any place to see the qualities? What is the arrangement inside the bag. Did google search for the reviews but, no pictures to show. Where in Singapore I can see the bags physically?

Suggestions are welcome. :)
Thanks!

can check out billingham at k13. 2nd floor peninsula.

for f-804 it seems like cambags.com has a review - go take a look there.

billingham bags usually only have word reviews - i did an extensive search when deciding whether to buy or not.. and there are very few reviews out there.. but maybe once again, can check out cambags to see if any of those models posted there meets your needs? :dunno:
