I'm thinking of getting a Billingham as a gift for my boyfriend.

Unfortunately, I'm not too sure which bag from its range would fit a 500D with a Tamron 15mm - 50mm.

Could anyone kindly advise me?

Thanks :)

get hadley original. but if he like bags with handle then get hadley pro. Both have room for expansion (as in more equipments) later. :)

would recommend L2... not everyone likes the hadley - its designed more as a briefcase rather than a true camera bag. i don't like that the insert is so stiff that it doesn't wrap around your body and sticks out against your body profile.

Get the triple 5. It is big, and wrap around you and definitely got room for expansion when the baby comes along and u need to put baby stuff in.

2nd that!

If you are getting your bf a new camera bag, i assume its a new hobby since u dun have a ready comparision in the bag he is using now.

Hadley pro or original is big for walk around for a newbie ;p , a presstop is nice or L2 or hadley small even would have more immediate use especially if he drives and the bag is for pure camera stuff.

Just my 2 cts worth as i got a hadley original and nvr used it as it was too big =p

cheers,

Any Billingham fans can explain the different between BillinghamTukTop 225 and Billingham Presstop 206.
It so confused? just like me still trying to decide between L2 and Small Hardly.

Presstop 206 is nice hahaha

just saw your gear.. note that the L2 can hold ALL your gear inc flash.

hadley small probably cannot.

hope that makes it easier :P

i suggest you head down to the main distributor or any of the dealers and try with all your gear in both bags. note that the front 2 pockets of the hadley small not padded but the front compartment of the L2 is padded. you can toss in the flash without its case in front of the L2.
