We can only do our part to make sure this awareness is spread far and wide within the reaches of our network, so that business people out there can be more discerning in their business decisions on the services to engage. So in future when he moves in social/business network circles, it won't be long before someone recognizes this man.

File a bankruptcy lawsuit against him in that case then, a bailiff under the authority of the Sheriff of Singapore will then enforce a Writ of Seizure and Sale on all his personal properties by pasting a red sticker on it. ;)

He signed the deal using the PTE LTD. The courts can only force the PTE LTD to go into bankruptcy. The director of the company will not have to pay for the debts of the company. Just that he will not be able to set up a company in his name, nor can he be a director of a company for a while. So what? He can set up a company using another person's name (his friends or relatives) and still operate business and con people. Same one la.

there is a different between his company owes people money and he owes people money.

if a company owe you money and unable to pay up, you can put his company under receivership. but a $2 company........ lol

No wonder I keep seeing shops occupying the same unit number at Sim Lim Square under a different name every single time but with the same layout and the same sales staffs. :bsmilie:

Pte Ltd company must have at least two share holders, each contribute $1, so the total paid up capital is $2.

So you can register a Pte Ltd, You as CEO, wife as CFO, your son can be Managing Director, your girl can be Account Manager of your company. :)

So if its a big family can also be a big company.

the most interesting thing is the company is not making a lot of money....

cos everybody is collecting a huge "director fee" ;)

I think now you can actually incorp a company with 1 director, who will also be the shareholder with $1 paid up cap.

yes, pte ltd need two at least two share holders.

for sole proprietorship and partnership, company need not to pay income tax, but the business owner must pay tax for the profit made from their company. the tax rate depends on ones income level.

pte ltd company will need to pay income tax and the rate is fixed and very high,
if this pte ltd is not making much profit, so don't have to pay lot of tax, but where do share holders can be take profit from?
how to let the company not to pay so much tax? and yet still can benefit the share holders? use your own imagination.

only see sole proprioter part leh:think:
it says that its only 1 person own company and he has all the say.

somehow i cant seem to find the private limited

The main diff is individual taxation and protection which are the benefits of Pte Ltd. But the accounting very troublesome, a lot of paper work. To justify this need to look at the income draw and know the breakeven point.

Sole proprietor is simpler but has poor protection cause ppl can go after your asset.

That is my understanding. A lot of freelance acc ppl earns $$ by helping ppl set up company or pte ltd to be specific.

yeah. A lot of factors to consider... Damn troublesome. If income not high ... Sometimes not worth it for pte ltd.... And it may be more or protection of asset.

Best person to talk to are the accountants.

a much simple explanation is Sole proprietorship and partnership have UNLIMITED liability.

and private limited company has LIMITED liability.

nothing wrong with Sole proprietorship, as long ones can keep everything under control and within his mean.
and yes, if the business getting bigger, ones better go for Pte Ltd.

think he will use the $1.4K+ money he swindled, and then $420 bird nest shot money to sue clubsnappers. :bsmilie:

Allen, angeline tan

I demand that Angeline Tan doesn't ever post any letter that displays my home address. She has covered her address but displays my address.

I demand that the letter be removed. If she insists on displaying it, make sure my home address is covered.

I am holding her and the entire forum responsible if any harm or injury or property damage is done to my family and home if she continues to do so.

She has played dirty and is a b**^% to display my home address. I don't have to account to the forum who owns the home, but I demand that the home address be removed or covered now. I demand immediate action on this request.

If I don't see it removed or covered, I will react with displaying Angeline Tan's office address and home address on this forum as well as on other forums.

I will file a police report and hold Angeline Tan and every forum member responsible if harm or injury or damage is done to my home and family as a result of the posting that displayed my home address.

I demand immediate attention to my request.

I don't care a damn what comments are there for the deal I had with that woman, but I do care that my home address be not displayed on the forum. For what is mentioned and perceived that she is angelic, she has played dirty like this.

Remove my home address if you insist on displaying the letter. I don't have to account to forum members and Angeline tan if I own the flat or not, it is none of your damn conern but it is my concern that my home address be removed immediately
translation:

chum liao, people might whack me up liao!
