Well, I had encountered ppl with post count 1 selling stuff to them and had no problems of any kind simply becos of 2 things:ST1100 said:i do not think the flak on the seller is fair. How would he know that posn75, a total stranger to him, would be good for his word? There is also a possibility that posn75 would inspect and reject the goods. It makes more sense to me that the seller should secure the transaction at the earliest opportunity.
It's tough, or at least tiring, to sell things on the forum here. i've experienced running around Singapore for people who only want to check out the item. There are those who bid and backout last minute. There are buyers who bid on multiple items and 'reserve' a few, only to get the best deal and back out on the rest. Blah blah blah. The buyers definitely have an advantage here.
i think posn75 should just write off the incident as a misunderstanding and move on. Singapore, and indeed Clubsnap, is a small place, and one day, you might be shooting together. Better one more friend than enemy. There are more worthy causes to fight over.
