and is personel warranty anything to do with if i dun like the lens and u got 3 weeks presonal warranty and i can reject the lens anytime?

he is a rich fellow driving a rush who given him by his father and yet $30 need to play punk. HAHA...;p

I think he mixed up Singapore with US of A. In USA, the buyer usually has at least 2 weeks and sometime one month "no questions asked return policy" which really means if I don't like what I have purchased, I can return the item for a refund.

He needs to be reminded this is not USA...

why you allow him to owe any balance? Either buyer pay in full or no deal. I stand firm on these regardless of how sincere a person may be. The power to negotiate is passed on to the buyer once you allow the deal to happen. You will be surprise how fast people can change in a second once control is in his hands.

Sometime back i posted an add to sell Flash for 50$. This gentleman sms me that he is interested, at the time of deal he said he is at X bus stop which was not meeting point so i drive there. When i showed him flash, he took out his SB600 and start comparing how his flash is so brighter than mine. I remind him that SB600 cost 400 and flash i am trying to sell only cost 50$. I think ppl should do enough research before they start bidding and wasting other ppl time.

Firstly, when I bought the lenses from you, you gave me a three week personal warranty Yes, i told you i would pay the thirty dollars later as i dind't have enough cash on me. I dont owe you any money as YOU told me later on that its okay and I dont have to pay the thirty dollars. Secondly, YOU didn't drive downtown. YOU had a wedding function at a hotel that is in town.

So if you gave me a personal warranty that means I have the right to give it back to you. YOU told me yourself to try and get used to the lens and if I dislike it I could give it back to you. Posting MY phone number and what car I drive has NOTHING to do with the deal. It is highly unethical of you.

You are the one not fulfilling your part of the deal. You disagree to give me the money back as you spent the money which is noone of my problem. You gave me personal warranty and I don't like the lens so YOU should return me my money. You still have the cheek to ask me to sell the lens.

Dissing me online about my race or whatever is not only unethical but also childish. Grow up and dont tell me your sad stories. Instead of wasting your time dissing me online why don't you use that brain of yours and think about the deal you made with me. You went back on your own words and yet you are making me notorious.

i think most important thing during these transactions is that when it is agreed as COD, you will collect full cash before handing over the equipment.. if the buyer does not have enough cash, it is up to the seller whether he wants to sell it at a discounted price or forget about the deal.. thus, you will not encounter these problems since the buyer and seller does not know each other and it is to protect your own interests.

buyer will also need to check carefully before handing over the cash to the seller.. it is also your responsibility to check and determine if the product is good and not faulty.. the best thing to do is also to bring along your body and take some pics so that you can see if the images are what you expected to be..

i called him on the 10th for money and he say when are we going to meet up to change the lens to 50mm? he like the 50mm more. which i already told him its reserve on the 8th. and sold on the 9th. i ask him to post in B&S yet he say he want a money return which i still have the money on hand and i told him spend all. he say he will call me later. after that i sms him ask him "so how" and he reply "u did say 3 weeks personal warranty, so whether u spend the money or not, its not my problem". I replied him and no reply from him anymore. his irresponsible act made me piss and send nasty message to him.

HELLO. this is singapore not USA. i say personal warranty which means if the lens spoil or give up i can get it repair. when did i say if u dun like it can get it return? u treat me as a free lens rental? yes. i did drive down for wedding dinner and i dun want to waste my time driving down to town any more.

Ok, both parties agreed on the personal warranty. It is not a return policy. I think both sides need to be clear on that.

so when I sell something, I state very clearly in my thread.

Everything buyer need to know is already in the thread
No reservation on item for viewing, first come first serve.
Come to meet me at my convenient time and place.
Fixed price.
No personal warranty

so far all the deals were closed successfully in a very short period.

Especially selling second hand stuffs, dun make any personal warranty !, which is a wrong thing to do. Sell as it is, chk item on the spot and always full cash payment and no 'O'dang... if not, no deal. Simple as that.

agreed with everyone. i do alot of selling in CS in order to clear my old lenses to fund upgrade. i find it not fair for buyers who buy from me and next day the lens give up. that's why i issue personal warranty. so far no one complain about the lens and my attitude. HE is the first one that looking for trouble with me.
