Whatever it is or was, that cuprit is dishonest and bet he should be arrested for stealing someone else property. What a shame and really dishonest . No money? Then dont bothered to rent a lens.. it is so obvious that he is cheating by giving a false hp numbers and failed to return the lens on the date given,failed to return call and giving all sort of excuses? No balls! I hope he wl get caught asap. Hate this type ppl. Period!

The Police is still investigating the case. Suspect has contacted us claiming to buy the two lens to compensate us by this week. We have been in contact with his mother too and so far that's what they have promised. We have yet to receive anything from them yet.

not to be such a wet blanket, I highly doubt they will really compensate
if they have to go to the extent to "steal" camera equipments and sell them
if they had the money, they would have already paid up by now

Yes, and the TS of thread was deregistered. He started a total of 3 threads already.

I think TS can show the police this person's intention and they can handcuff him already for attempting to sell stolen goods. Dun delay, the longer you delay, the lens most probably will not be able to recovered back.

Question to the mod. how can a person with so little post count and newly register allow to sell stuffs on B&S?

Perhaps should limit to 100 posts and registered as a member for a period of time before they are allowed to do so?

I always request for invoice or receipt when buying expensive lens. No receipt no buy. Then some CSers said I worry too much, B&S base on trust etc etc

hmm i doubt anyone will give u invoice or receipt when he is a user himself (not a shop or company selling lens).

there is no post count limit to post in Buy/Sell. if you look ard in B/S, you will notice a lot of 1-post wonders registering just to sell.
