even the "Mini Challenger" beside Alan Photo at Funan on the 2nd floor gave my friend great prices for the EPL1. Their price was better then AP, TK, even SLR Rev for the EPL1.

Later i drop by the micro Challenger at Whitesand Pasir Ris to check out.:bsmilie:

Saw it in Best Denki (Vivo), they selling EPL2 Kit (14-45) for $998, damn expensive. Amazon is only selling it for USD600 (about SGD$780).

Have you factored in the shipping charges (~US$50) and 7% GST? Also the risk of damage due to rough handling during shipment or loss even? Getting it at local dealers would definitely be much less than the RRP of $998.

The issue is why when US currency is so weak, their prices is still better than S'pore? Thought our currency is much stronger? :dunno:

Best price I found was HKD4,580 (cash price). Free gifts as follows:

1. 8GB SD card (Adata i think);
2. 3rd party battery;
3. screen protector;
4. mini tripod;
5. no brand camera case (no padding at all, just a canvas case)

Mong Kok Broadway selling the same package for HKD4,880. No additional charge for credit card.

Just keep the receipt and the warranty card. Olympus has international warranty. I had a US set serviced here in Singapore. :thumbsup:
