If I can just justify to myself another S$1000, I'll up my S2 to the S3. the first reason being the improved DR, the second being sync speed of 1/180, 1/2 stop better than the S2's 1/125.

But for a hobbyist, and MOSTLY non-profit shooter, I'll stick with my S2 for now.

At $2500, certainly worthwhile for a first DSLR, a tool for trade or a second camera.
