Most towns in northern China go to bed early and businesses also close early except for some restaurants and the bars/KTVs
Here restaurant workers pluck and prepare vegetables for the next day's business

Well, after so many days on the road..... we decided to take it easy and fly back to Beijing from Yanji..... one way economy flight was about 500rmb and took about 1hr 45mins

Back in Beijing, we found ourselves in strange modern surroundings ha ha..... had a big salad and shamelessly went to Mc Donalds for some fries and Coke ha ha ha

Flight back to Singapore was at midnight the next day so I spent the time doing some shopping and walking around taking in the capital city's sights and did the usual tourist things

Looking at the Forbidden City

Nice photo, what camera and lens u using? Any PP?

Care to share..:)

the telephoto shots were executed with an ancient Canon 350D paired with the 28-135 IS workhorse.....while all wide angles were shot with a Panasonic LX3

PP work is minimal......... resizing, adjusting some contrast/brightness and sharpening

Most of the B&W images shot with in-camera BW Dynamic mode (LX3) which turned out (I think) pretty decent
